July 6, 2022 - Russlands Sicherheitsrat Sekretär Nikolai Patrushev hat neuerlich den ursprünglichen Kriegsauslöser – Wechsel des Regimes – bestätigt, zeigt dadurch, dass Russlands militärische Führung die kürzlichen Landgewinne als nicht ausreichend ansieht, um das Ziel der "Spezialoperation" zu erreichen, weitere Gebietsgewinne, über den Donbas hinaus, sind gefordert.

In occupied territories of Luhansk and Zaporizhya Oblasts, Russia is stepping up forcible conscription to provide more manpower, particularly for the forces of the breakaway Luhansk People’s Republic which suffered considerable losses in the battles for Lysychansk and Severodonetsk.

Heavy artillery strikes have continued around Slovyansk and Siversk as Russian forces attempt to push westward, while demining and clearance operations have begun in Severodonetsk and Lysychansk to use them as a base for future offensives.
