Cristiano Ronaldo hat neuerlich einen UEFA Champions League Rekord gebrochen. Es war sein 178. Einsatz im Spiel und Sieg von Manchester United gegen Villareal im Old Trafford.
Ronaldo, who rejoined Manchester United in the summer from Italian giants Juventus, scored an injury-time winner to secure an important three points in the group stage clash with Villarreal. The Portuguese talisman also holds Champions League goals record, with 136 strikes -- leading long-term rival Lionel Messi by 15 goals.
