UEFA Europa League k.o. Phase geht weiter

March 11, 2021 - Zu den UEFA Europa League Round of 16 Hinspielen gehört auch das Treffen der Schwergewichte Manchester United, 2017 Champion, undItaliens AC Milan, der wieder zu alter Form findet und die Trophäen fürEuropa- und Nationalspiele gewinnen möchte, immerhin ist es schon 10 Jahre seit dem letzten Serie A Titel. Rückspiele gibt es am 18. März.

The 2020-21 UEFA Europa League is the 50th season of Europe’s secondary club football tournament.

Notable ties in the Last 16 also include Olympiacos against Arsenal -- a repeat of their Last 32 clash in 2020 -- Roma versus Shakhtar Donetsk, Villarreal taking on Dynamo Kyiv, and knock-out stage debutants Granada and Molde facing-off for a berth in the quarter-finals.

The season culminates with the final at the Stadion Energa Gdańsk in Poland on May 26, 2021.

The winners of the tournament automatically qualify for the 2020-21 Champions League group stage, and earn the right to play against the winners of the 2020-21 Champions League in the 2021 UEFA Super Cup.

Clubs qualify for the competition based on their performance in their national league and cup competitions.
