Handball-Weltmeisterschaft 2021 der Männer in Ägypten

Die alle zwei Jahre stattfindende IHF Handball-WM der Männer findet 2021 in Ägypten statt. Es ist erst das dritte Mal, dass die Meisterschaft in Afrika ausgetragen wird, nach Ägypten (1999) und Tunesien (2005).

The 27th Men’s World Handball Championship takes place, with 108 matches at four venues over three weeks. Cairo, New Administrative Captital (NAC), Borg El Arab and 6th of October City will all host matches throughout the tournament.
Reigning champions Denmark are aiming to defend their title, after defeating Norway in the 2019 final. European champions Spain are looking to clinch their first title since 2013, while perennial favourites France are targeting a fifth title in seven championships.
The Cairo Stadium Indoor Halls Complex will host the final on January 31.
