Tour de France 2021 - Die Route

June 26, 2021 - July 18, 2021 - Gestartet wird in der nord-westlichen Stadt Brest in der Bretagne. Das Charakteristikum der 2021 Tour de France ist die Einbeziehung einer doppelten Abfahrt vom ikonischen Mont Ventoux und ein Besuch in Andorra.

The double assault on Mont Ventoux occurs around halfway through the race on stage 11 – a 199km run from Sorgues to Malaucène..

The 108th edition of the Tour, which will feature two individual time trials, in the opening week and on the penultimate day, could however be decided in the Pyrenees, with the 18th stage going through another iconic ascent, to the Col du Tourmalet.

Stage 15 features the highest peak of this year’s race, as riders summit the 2,408m-high Port d’Envalira before finishing in Andorra.

Cycling's biggest race will start on June 26 after this year's event was delayed by the coronavirus pandemic, and it will end in Paris on the Champs-Elysees on July 18.
