Disney+ Streamingdienst startet früher als erwartet
January 21, 2020 -
Der enue Streamingdienst Disney+ beginnt am 24. März in UK, Irland, Frankreich, Deutschland, Italien, Spanien, Österreich und der Schweiz – eine Woche früher als erwartet. Die Kosten betragen €6.99/£5.99 pro
Monat.
Disney+ will be competitively priced at €6.99/£5.99 per month or €69.99/£59.99 if paid annually – keeping it in line with rival operators such as Amazon Prime, Netflix and lately Apple TV+.
Disney+ launched in North America in November 2019, where it became the most downloaded app, and the Netherlands where the platform was beta tested.
Disney+ will become available in Belgium, Portugal and Nordic countries in the summer of 2020.
It is believed the revised earlier launch date is an attempt by Disney to hamper widespread piracy of “The Mandalorian”, the channel’s first Star Wars live action show and the reason many viewers signed up to the service.
Disney has confirmed that the new service will replace the DisneyLife streaming channel, available in the UK and Ireland since 2015.
