Tiger versucht 83. Titel in Torey Pines zu holen

By Chris Dinsdale

January 23, 2020 - January 26, 2020 - Die 2019-20 PGA Tour wird mit dem Farmers Insurance Open in Torrey Pines, San Diego, Kalifornien, fortgesetzt.

Tiger Woods will aim to secure a record 83rd PGA Tour victory at Torrey Pines to eclipse Sam Snead’s 55-year-old tally. In 2018, Woods claimed his first title for five years after struggling with injury and personal trials -- at the end of 2017 he was ranked 1,199 in the world after undergoing spinal fusion surgery, the latest of multiple operations.

In October, the 44-year-old’s victory at the Zozo Championship in Japan gave Tiger his 82nd PGA Tour title, equalling Snead’s haul.
