Forbes: Höchstbezahlte Athleten der Welt

June 12, 2019 - Das amerikanische Wirtschaftsmagazin Forbes hat die Top 100 der höchstbezahlten Athleten der Welt veröffentlicht. Lionel Messi von Barcelona steht an der Spitze mit $127Millionen Verdienst in den letzten 12 Monaten, damit hat er Ronaldo und Neymar überholt.

The Forbes Top 100 includes athletes from 25 countries and $4bn combined earnings -- which are up 5% from the previous year -- despite 2018 highest earner, boxer Floyd Mayweather, no longer featuring in the acclaimed list. Grand Slam tennis star, Serena Williams, is the only woman in the Top 100, earning $29.2m.
