nachgelassen hat, besteht Seuchengefahr für die über 200.000 Menschen in den Auffanglagern.
Twelve days of incessant rains have left at least 186 people dead in Kerala state. Between June 1 and August 19, Kerala received 235cm of rain, 42 percent more than normal. During August alone the increase was 164 percent above normal.
Rescue teams are focused on the town of Chengannur on the Pamba River, where some 5,000 people are feared to be trapped.
