US Open Damen Setzliste 2018

August 27-September 9, 2018 -- Simona Halep, die Nummer Eins der Weltrangliste führt in der Setzliste Damen des US Open, der vierte und letzte Grand Slam dieser Saison.

Australian Open winner Caroline Wozniacki is seeded second, with reigning U.S. Open champion Sloane Stephens seeded third and Wimbledon champion Angelique Kerber fourth.

Serena Williams, who missed last year’s tournament after having a baby, returns as the No. 17 seed. The six-time U.S. Open champion is the only player in either the men’s or women’s draw seeded above her ranking.

The U.S. Tennis Association (USTA) said: “After balancing a variety of factors, including her return to competition following the birth of her daughter, her recent hard-court performance this summer and recognition of her achievements at the US Open, the USTA has moved Serena Williams’ seeding nine spots, from 26 to 17. We feel this is the appropriate decision, one that recognizes Serena and is fair to the remaining seeded players.”

Existing users will need to register individually - we’ll be sending instructions to our main contacts at each group and will be on hand to help you through the process, which we hope will be seamless!
