November 1, 2015 - Radar analysis and thermal imaging is to be used to test a theory that Queen Nefertiti’s crypt may be hidden in King Tutankhamun’s tomb. The theory, presented by British Egyptologist Nicholas Reeves, speculates that the walls of King Tut’s tomb could conceal two unexplored doorways, one of which perhaps leads to Nefertiti’s tomb. Radar equipment could be at the site as early as November.
