FAQ: How do Select & Pay and Fixed Price deals compare?
Fixed Price is a professional membership offering better prices.
• All graphics cost the same as they are obtained using credits (1 credit = 1 graphic). One credit is included with the monthly pro-membership fee. Additional credits can be purchased. You can avoid going to checkout every time you want to download something by purchasing credits in advance.
• Unrestricted access to the website is included for the period of the membership, i.e. graphics can be viewed large on single-story pages.
• A Fixed Price deal comes with 5 loginID for team working so page editors, picture researchers, technical and budget holders can work together. Users can be given different permissions so some can be given permission to view but not download (useful for page editors wanting to use the service as a source of information)

FAQ: What is the minimum period for a fixed price deal?
One month. If you start a Fixed Price (monthly) deal it can be cancelled immediately via your online account. It will then end at the end of the month at the next renewal date

Credits enable graphics to be downloaded without going through checkout. (1 credit = 1 graphic). Offers better prices for regular users. With a FIXED PRICE deal one credit is included each month but more credits can be purchased if needed.
FAQ: Can credits be used for any item?
No. The credits given with a Fixed Price deal give access only to content produced by Graphic News. Interactives in legacy formats are restricted, as are those with live data feeds (which can get very high hits and so need special load-sharing provisions)

FAQ: Can a fixed monthly fee be paid instead of paying per item? (unlimited subscriptions)
Yes. Contact us. Such unlimited subscription allow accurate budget management, and give the best value for media publishers using the service regularly. They not only allow downloading without additional costs, but also allow an unlimited number of people to access the service, each with their own loginID and password. This is needed if newsroom feeds are sent by FTP to integrate with in-house content management systems.
FAQ: Can we get a different license or special pricing if your online prices are too expensive for our project?
Contact us. If what we offer online isn't what you want, a wide variety of other options are available with bespoke pricing and licenses.
FAQ: How long do credits last?
The credits associated with FIXED PRICE users last 12 months but can only be accessed if the FIXED PRICE deal is active.
FAQ: Am I restricted to the one credit I get each month?
No, you can buy additional credits via a link in your online account.
FAQ: What happens if a graphic is updated? Can I re-download?
If a graphic is downloaded under a FIXED PRICE deal or SELECT & PAY it can be re-downloaded at no cost.
FAQ: What happens if a graphic is available in alternative languages?
If a graphic is downloaded under a FIXED PRICE deal, this includes any and all of the file formats available and any and all of the languages available.
FAQ: How many loginIDs are included with a FIXED PRICE deal?
As this deal is intended for professional users, we automatically allow 5 LoginIDs for each "group", but this can be increased if you contact us. One User (LoginID) is identified as the Main User.
FAQ: How can users be added to my account?
Each account has a main contact that can add users via the online account (or if you contact us). The maximum is usually 5 for groups with Fixed Price Deals.
FAQ: Do all users have the same permissions?
No! The Main User and anyone with User Management permissions can add users and edit their permissions. The Main User and anyone with Financial Permissions can see orders and edit invoicing information. Other users can view only, and/or download, and/or buy credits.
Example: A picture editor might have a card to purchase images, so they could buy "credits" that could then be used by the graphics department to obtain the images requested by a page editor. And someone in the accounts department could then log in to obtain copies of invoices.

FAQ: Can an item be published more than once?
Yes, if the item is purchased using a credit obtained with a FIXED PRICE deal. For these there is no time limit to the license. In contrast, items downloaded using an unlimited subscription may only be published during the period of that subscription.
