Publisher Terms: Amendments and Notifications
In the Graphic News User Terms, Graphic News reserves the right to make reasonable amendments at any time by posting the amended terms on the Graphic News website.
Publishers shouldn’t worry that they will suddenly find themselves subject to User Terms that are unacceptable, because such changes have to be reasonable. They are also not made very often. In fact, since 1991, when the Graphic News Service started, the User Terms have only been changed twice, in 2008 and in 2013. Both updates have been necessitated by changes in technology rather than legal issues.
- Notices: When changes are made Graphic News will notify Publishers in a number of different ways over a period of time.
- A notice will be posted at the point of download and on the Graphic News website home page for a period of 30 days.
- All editors receiving e-alerts will be notified.
- All Technical Contacts appointed by a Publisher to liaise with Graphic News will be notified.
- A notice will be sent with all invoices.
- A notice will be sent when a Publisher is sent a copy of the latest Graphic News Archive Book.
