VIEWS

The graphics produced by Graphic News are saved with pre-set views such as the Publish View , the Translation View and the Guides View.
  • Publish View: When a graphic is saved it is saved to the Publish View so that when it opens it should be visible in the centre of your monitor, and all the layers should be locked except the top Text layer.
  • Translation View:

    • This Translation Layer was introduced to help translators. Any text that had been outlined in the graphic (and is therefore unmodifiable) is available unoutlined on this layer (and so modifiable). You can therefore delete the outlined text and replace it with the un-outlined (and therefore editable) text from the translation layer. If you use Cmd-F to paste the text in it will be in exactly the same position as the outlined text was before.
    • The Translation Layer can also be used as a source of the original text in English, .
  • The Guides View: This contains non-printing guides that can be used to align test<
