March 16, 2025 - December 7, 2025 - The 76th Formula One World Championship commences with the Australian Grand Prix and concludes in Abu Dhabi in December. Spanish driver Carlos Sainz Jr races for Williams in the 2025 season, after securing 5th place in the 2024 Championship with 290 points. His team-mate is Thai drivet Alexander Albon.

The Formula One World Championship, the premier class of motor racing, is organised by the governing body of international motorsport, the Federation Internationale de l’Automobile (FIA).

Twenty drivers will contest the 2025 World Championship:
