March 16, 2025 - December 7, 2025 - The 76th Formula One World Championship commences with the Australian Grand Prix and concludes in Abu Dhabi in December. Spanish driver Fernando Alonso races for Aston Martin in the 2025 season, after securing 9th place in the 2024 Championship with 70 points. His team-mate is Canadian driver Lance Stroll.

The Formula One World Championship, the premier class of motor racing, is organised by the governing body of international motorsport, the Federation Internationale de l’Automobile (FIA).

Twenty drivers will contest the 2025 World Championship:

Alpine: Pierre Gasly, Jack Doohan (NEW)
Aston Martin: Fernando Alonso, Lance Stroll
Ferrari: Charles Leclerc, Lewis Hamilton
Haas: Esteban Ocon, Oliver Bearman (NEW)

Mercedes: George Russell, Andrea Kimi Antonelli (NEW)
