عدد النازحين في لبنان يقترب من مليون شخص

October 10, 2024 - تقول الأمم المتحدة إن أكثر من 600.000 شخص من أصل 5.4 مليون شخص في لبنان نزحوا داخل البلاد وأن أكثر من 300.000 آخرين فرّوا إلى الخارج منذ تصاعد الحرب الشهر الماضي.

UN officials have warned that Lebanon is staring down a “catastrophic” humanitarian crisis as the number of internally displaced people has hit 600,000 and Israel presses its offensive against Hezbollah.

The UN’s humanitarian coordinator for Lebanon, Imran Riza, has said Lebanon is facing “one of the deadliest periods” in its recent history.

More than 2,100 people have been killed in Israeli attacks since Oct 2023 – most in the past two weeks – the Lebanese health ministry says.
