July 26, 2024 - August 11, 2024 - The 2024 summer Olympic Games, the Games of the XXXIII Olympiad, take place in Paris, France. The Olympic triathlon courses will start and finish on the Pont Alexandre III bridge in the centre of Paris. During the individual events, athletes will swim 1.5km in the Seine river, followed by a 40km bike race and 10km run through the heart of the city.

The Paris 2024 Olympic Games feature 32 sports encompassing 329 events – fewer than the preceding Tokyo Olympics, after Baseball, Softball and Karate were axed and some other events lost medal categories.
