Nvidia’s market capitalisation has reached around $2 trillion – making it the third most valuable company in the United States.

A year ago, the company was worth around $500 billion – a quarter of its current value.

Nvidia is benefiting from advances in artificial intelligence, triggering an insatiable demand for its computer chips, which include features that aid machine learning.
