فواتير القضايا القانونية المتصاعدة لدونالد ترامب

By Duncan Mil

Trump blamed “the Lunatic Left, working closely with Crooked Joe Biden ” for his “vast” legal fees on his social media site Truth Social after the Federal Election Commission (FEC) revealed that he is bleeding campaign donations to pay his soaring legal bills.

Trump’s political operation has raised about $67 million since the start of this year and ended June with about $71 million in cash at their disposal.

However, his “Save America” political action committee (PAC) reported spending $21.6 million on legal costs. According to FEC filings, Save America ended June with $3.6 million cash.

Two of Trump’s most generously paid lawyers, Alina Habba and Christopher Kise, have received $3.48 million and $2.81 million, respectively, from the PAC.

Trump has been charged in four criminal cases this year. In New York, he faces charges for hush money payments to a porn star. He faces charges of hoarding classified documents in Florida and impeding efforts to retrieve them. In Washington, D.C., he faces charges for his efforts to overturn Joe Biden’s victory in the 2020 presidential election and the January 6, 2021, assault by a mob of Trump supporters on the Capitol. And in Georgia, he faces a case for his election interference in that state -- a total of 91 criminal charges.
