October 2, 2022 - The London Marathon is taking place for the third successive year in October rather than its traditional April date. The 26.2 mile route begins near Blackheath in Greenwich and finishes on the Mall.

The race is run over a mainly flat course set around the River Thames, taking in many of London’s most famous landmarks.
