نتائج انتخابات الكونغرس الأميركية ٢٠٢٠

By Phil Bainbridge

November 3, 2020 - Americans head to the polls to decide which party controls the two chambers of Congress and has the power to oversee the new President and his administration.

Democrats are aiming to seize control of both chambers of Congress, with 434 seats in the House of Representatives and 35 Senate seats up for election.

However, while Democrats may be able to take the House, where they currently hold a majority, clinching the Senate will be harder. With just a third of the 100 Senate seats being contested, Democrats need at least 3 more seats to take control, although the Republicans are defending 23 seats while the Democrats only have to defend 12.
