February 18, 2020 - Democratic candidates would lead President Trump in voting intentions if the 2020 presidential election were to be held today, with Michael Bloomberg claiming the largest numerical lead over Trump, according to a poll of polls by Real Clear Politics.

The former New York City mayor has 49.8% support against Trump’s 43.8% among voters, giving him a lead of six points.

Former Vice President Joe Biden follows Bloomberg with a 5.6 point lead over the president, while Sen. Bernie Sanders of Vermont and Sen. Amy Klobuchar of Minnesota have 4.3% and 2.6% leads respectively.

Sen. Elizabeth Warren of Massachusetts follows with a 2.2% lead over Trump, beating out former South Bend, Indiana, Mayor Pete Buttigieg’s single point lead over the president.

Bloomberg has spent more than $124 million on advertising in the 14 Super Tuesday states that vote on March 3, well over ten times what his top rivals have put into the contests that yield 1,357 delegates in a single day.
