رونالدو ينضم إلى نادي الـ ٧٠٠ حصري
October 15, 2019 - Juventus forward Cristiano Ronaldo became only the sixth player to score 700 career goals when he netted a penalty in Portugal’s Euro 2020 qualifier against Ukraine.
The Portuguese captain still has some way to go to overhaul the all-time record held by Czech-Austrian, Josef Bican, who scored over 800 goals for club and country. Other players in the 700-club include Brazil legends Romario and Pele, Hungary’s Ferenc Puskas, and Gerd Muller of Germany.
The prolific forward started his career at Sporting Clube, netting just five times before sealing a move to Manchester United. He then spent six seasons at Old Trafford, scoring 118 goals. In 2009, Ronaldo completed his dream move to Spanish giants Real Madrid -- striking over 450 times and inspiring the club to four UEFA Champions League titles.
A move to Italian heavyweights Juventus followed in 2018, and the 34-year-old continues to score at an impressive rate. His strike against Ukraine was his 95th for his native Portugal.
