مستوى سطح البحر قد يرتفع بمقدار مترين بحلول عام ٢١٠٠

By Mike Tyler

May 21, 2019 - Global sea levels could rise by more than two metres by the end of the century – resulting in the displacement of almost 200 million people – if global warming continues at its current rate, new research suggests.

The new assessment found runaway carbon emissions and melting ice sheets could result in such a worst case scenario, potentially double the upper limit outlined by the UN climate science panel’s last major report, according to New Scientist.
