رولان غاروس ٢٠١٩: نظرة على السيدات

May 26, 2019 - June 9, 2019 - Roland Garros, the second Grand Slam tournament of the season, takes place in Paris, France. Unlike the Australian Open, Roland Garros has decided against the introduction of tie-breaks in the final set, so marathon matches may still feature at the tournament.

Of the top four players to watch World No. 1 Naomi Osaka, winner of the last two Grand Slams, has seen her confidence slip in recent months but hopes to be back on top form at Roland Garros.

Karolina Pliskova has had a consistent season in 2019, reaching the quarter-finals or better at six out of eight tournaments, and winning two titles. Defending champion Simona Halep loves the red courts of Roland Garros and will hope to shine again.

Rounding out the top four is the in-form Kiki Bertens. The Dutch player is at a career-high ranking and beat Halep in Madrid to claim her first Premier Mandatory title.
