April 11, 2019 - Europa League quarter-final first leg matches include an all-Spanish contest between La Liga foes Villarreal and Valencia. The second leg for these matches takes place on April 18.

Local rivals Villarreal and Valencia -- the cities are just 60km apart -- played out a goalless draw in La Liga in September. Both are now aiming to gain a decisive advantage in a bid to secure a semi-final berth in the Europa League.

Elsewhere, Arsenal, whose coach Unai Emery is chasing a fourth Europa League title, clash with Italian heavyweights Napoli, while Chelsea face Slavia Prague, who dispatched five-time champions Sevilla, and Benfica meet Eintracht Frankfurt.

The 2018-2019 UEFA Europa League is the 48th season of Europe’s secondary club football tournament. The final will be played at the Olympic Stadium in Baku, Azerbaijan, on May 29, 2019.

The winners automatically qualify for the 2019-20 Champions League group stage, and earn the right to play against the winners of the 2018-2019 Champions League in the 2019 UEFA Super Cup.

Clubs qualify for the competition based on their performance in their national league and cup competitions.
