السفر بالطائرات فائقة السرعة يعود قريبا

February 8, 2019 - Boeing is partnering with Nevada-based startup Aerion Corporation to develop a business jet that promises to bring back the luxury of supersonic air travel for the first time since Concorde retired in 2003.

Boeing said it will provide engineering, manufacturing and flight-test resources for Aerion’s AS2 jet, which is due to make its first flight in 2023.

The 12-seater plane is able to fly at speeds of up to Mach 1.4, or about 1,000 miles per hour – some 70 percent faster than today’s quickest business jets, according to Bloomberg News.
