صفقات طيران تعزز مبيعات بوينغ

June 26, 2018 - Boeing has boosted its order book with two Asian sales for aircraft valued at $14.4 billion ahead of the Farnborough International Airshow, widening its strong lead over Airbus.

The two deals underscore the tilt of the aerospace market to Asia, where airlines are stocking up on aircraft to serve a rapidly expanding middle class, according to Bloomberg News.

Jet Airways India is purchasing 75 of Boeing’s 737 Max single-aisle planes – a transaction valued at $8.8 billion based on list prices – while Vietnamese startup Bamboo Airways is committing to 20 twin-aisle Boeing 787-9 Dreamliners, a deal of about $5.6 billion before customary discounts.
