نتائج الانتخابات الرئاسية في فنزويلا

May 21, 2018 - Venezuela’s President Nicolás Maduro has won re-election to another six-year term, in a vote marred by the boycott of the opposition Democratic Unity Roundtable coalition and claims of vote-rigging.

The primary opposition candidate, Henri Falcón, rejected the result soon after the polls closed.

With 92 percent of the votes counted, Maduro had 67.7 percent or 5.8 million votes while Falcón won 21.2 percent (1.8 million votes) and Javier Bertucci secured 10.8 percent (925,000 votes), according to the National Electoral Council. Just 46% of the electorate turned out to vote.

The administration of U.S. President Donald Trump said it would not recognise the result.
