May 27, 2018 - Roland Garros, the home of the French Open tennis tournament, is getting a long-planned revamp worth over $400 million, including a retractable roof over the main Philippe-Chatrier court.
Construction work will pause each year while the tournament is played, and the redevelopment is expected to end in 2020, according to French construction company Vinci SA.
