Europa League Quarter-final draw 2018-19

April 11, 2019 - Draw for the quarter-finals in the Europa League in Nyon, Switzerland, March 15. The first leg takes place on April 11, with the return leg on April 18.

The Europa League quarter-finals pits La Liga rivals Villarreal and Valencia against each other in an all-Spanish contest, while Arsenal, with coach Unai Emery chasing a fourth title, face Italian heavyweights Napoli. Elsewhere, Chelsea face Slavia Prague, who dispatched five-time champions Sevilla, and Benfica face Eintracht Frankfurt.

The 2018-2019 UEFA Europa League is the 48th season of Europe’s secondary club football tournament. The final will be played at the Olympic Stadium in Baku, Azerbaijan, on May 29, 2019.

The winners automatically qualify for the 2019-20 UEFA Champions League group stage, and earn the right to play against the winners of the 2018-2019 UEFA Champions League in the 2019 UEFA Super Cup.

Clubs qualify for the competition based on their performance in their national league and cup competitions.
